Nestled in Claisebrook Cove on Royal Street, East Perth, The Royal on the Waterfront began trading around late 2003, originally opened and operated by the Gastevich family.

Uninterrupted riverside views for any occasion

In 2019 The West Australian newspaper has called us “a classic pub for modern times” offering “smart, simple food. Good beers and wines. Great atmosphere. The veranda is one of the best drinking spots in town.”

In 2018 Concrete Playground noted our hotel “perched on Claisebrook Cove in East Perth, is a riverside pub fit for, well, royalty.”

It noted: “It boasts uninterrupted views of the Swan River and a spacious waterfront terrace that’s suitable for any occasion, from hump-day hangs to post-work sundowners. Optus Stadium lies just across the river, so if you’ve tickets in your hand, this is the perfect spot for a pre-game bev.”

But we’re not just known for sweeping views of Swan River, we’re also known for our diverse menu, and being a destination venue for fans attending events at the nearby Optus Stadium, a short walk away.
